Cinnamon Ginger Cookies

Materials : 

  • 3 cups Flour (420 grams)
  • 6 tablespoons of Butter (90 grams)
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup of Grape Molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of Ginger
  • Ginger


Fabrication : 

  1. Add flour, salt, cinnamon and ginger into a deep bowl and mix.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the butter and brown sugar, kept at room temperature, until well mixed.
  3. Add the egg and continue beating.
  4. Add molasses and vanilla extract and continue whisking.
  5. Then add the dry material mixture and continue mixing until it reaches the consistency of dough.
  6. Put the dough on a floured counter and roll it out with the help of a rolling pin until it is as thick as a finger.
  7. Shape with molds as you wish. Or you can shape it by hand.
  8. Put it on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper and let it sit in the refrigerator for ten minutes.
  9. After ten minutes, bake the cookies you took from the refrigerator for 8 minutes in a preheated oven at 170 degrees.
