KAHVELİ DONDURMA

COFFEE ICE CREAM

Materials 
  • 600 ml of milk
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 400 ml cream
  • 1.5 cups of granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of filter coffee
  • 1 full teaspoon of salep

 

 

Fabrication  

Brew filter coffee in a dense consistency.

Put the milk, cream, salep, egg yolk, sugar and coffee in the pot and cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until the milk thickens and let it cool.

Take the mixture out of the refrigerator, stir and put it in the deepfreeze / freezer.

Take the mixture out every hour, mix it with a solid wooden spoon and put it back in the refrigerator.

After doing this process 4-5 times (this will prevent crystallization and icing), the ice cream will be ready.
