BADEMLİ KAHVELİ VEGAN BROWNİE

VEGAN BROWNIE WITH ALMOND COFFEE

Materials:

  • 1/2 cup of coconut oil
  • 3/4 brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons ground coffee
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 flaxseed eggs**
  • 1/4 cup vegetable milk (soy, almond, etc.)
  • ½ cup unsalted almonds

Flaxseed Egg:

  • 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed
  • 3 teaspoons of hot water

Mix the two ingredients. After waiting for 5 minutes, you will get a slightly sticky gel. This mixture replaces 1 egg.

 

Fabrication:

Melt the coconut oil. Add in the coffee. Add the flax seed-egg mixture, which has been waiting for 5 minutes, and beat with a whisk at high speed. Add the sugar and continue beating.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour, coffee and baking powder.

Incorporate the flour mixture into the liquids thoroughly. If the dough is a little stiff at this stage, you can add vegetable milk little by little. When you're done, the dough should take on a thick and sticky consistency like tahini-molasses.

Spread the mixture evenly into a well-oiled cake tin.

Sprinkle the chopped almonds on it and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. The cooking time will differ depending on how much you have preheated the oven.

Remove from oven and let cool for at least 30 minutes.
